• Appointments are preferred.  Some services are available with a technician appointment. 
• Walk-ins or work-ins are accommodated as much as possible if scheduled appointments allow. 
• Emergency needs are given priority or referred to REACH Hospital when appropriate.

Internet Pharmacy Policy

Due to the advertising efforts of Mail Order and Internet-based pharmacies, we have received a few requests for prescriptions through these outlets. We are happy to provide you with these prescriptions for your pet. As with any new market, there are certain individuals or companies that have and will abuse the system in a less-than-ethical manner.

To ensure that no inappropriate medication is dispensed for your pet, we will issue written prescriptions only to you, our client.

We will not honor faxed or phoned requests from Internet Pharmacies as this has been a primary source of drugs being illegally dispensed.  Prescriptions will be issued in accordance with manufacturers'  recommendations only and strictly in a legitimate doctor-client patient relationship.

To do otherwise is illegal and unethical.

Please inspect your product when you receive it to ensure adequate shelf life and that it is not a foreign labeled product (selling such products is in violation of U.S. Federal law).  If possible, try to determine if the dispensing pharmacy will honor the manufacturers guarantee as most drug companies will not stand behind products sold through these discount outlets.  This is important should your pet have a problem resulting from the product or its usage.  When we dispense pharmaceuticals to your pet, we are ready to treat any resulting adverse reactions or complications and know that the drug companies will support us technically and you financially.  Also, it is important to note that all of our distributors will back the efficacy of their products if there is ever a problem (positive heartworm or intestinal parasite check).  This is NOT the case with Mail Order and Internet Pharmacies.

While we can not compete with a mass marketer, we have found that our prices are usually within cents of the online pharmacies even with their free shipping.

Your pet's health is our main concern and we appreciate the confidence you place in us.  We are happy to provide you with a written prescription if that is what you choose to do.
