  • BOARDING - CAT CONDOS
    Our facility is currently equipped to board 20 feline pets.  Bring your pet's favorite bed, blanket, toy, etc.  We strive to make your feline friend as comfortable and at-home as possible.

    • We maintain a supply of blood for all types of pets in case of emergency.
  • DENTAL CARE
    • One of the most important health aspects in fostering a long life for your cat or dog is paying close attention to their oral health.  This is accomplished with regular professional cleanings handled by our technical staff and home-care training for you and your family.  Here at Maple Tree Veterinary Hospital we use state-of-the-art dental equipment to thoroughly and efficiently clean your pet's teeth.  We will also provide you with the tools you need to maintain your pet's oral health.
  • EMERGENCY AND CRITICAL CARE
    • We handle emergencies during our office hours.  If your pet gets sick or injured after hours we recommend Regional Emergency Animal Care Hospital (REACH).  Their number is 828-665-4399.

  • EUTHANASIA/CREMATION SERVICES
    • Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client.
  • IMMUNIZATION AND WELLNESS CARE
    • We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

  • IN-HOUSE LABORATORY

    • Maple Tree Veterinary Hospital has a fully equipped, state-of-the-art laboratory.  We can perform chemistry panels, urinalysis, heartworm tests, fecal exams and feline leukemia and FIV tests.  This helps us to better diagnose and treat your pet.  In addition, we recommend and perform pre-anesthetic blood tests for all patients to detect any medical conditions that may cause problems during anesthesia. 

  • INTERNAL MEDICINE
    • We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Orthopedic surgery; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others.
  • MICROCHIPPING
    • Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery.
  • NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING
    • As with people, the phrase "you are what you eat" pertains to pets too.  The quality of the diet you choose for your pet will set the stage for his/her immediate and future health. Not only does a premium diet offer a healthy skin and coat on the outside, but also aids healthy organ function on the inside.  Our staff will help you to decide the best diet for your cat or dog based on breed, age and medical conditions to which your pet may be predisposed.  At Maple Tree Veterinary Hospital, we have available a full line of regular and prescription nutritional formulas to satisfy your pet's health needs. 
  • PAIN MANAGEMENT
    • Medical and surgical cases will be evaluated for signs of pain or discomfort and treated appropriately.  We are focused on the comfort of our patients and we will take measures to treat them and maintain their quality of life.
  • PREVENTIVE MEDICINE

    • The doctor and staff at Maple Tree Veterinary Hospital are focused on preventing what diseases are preventable.  Maintaining a health vaccine schedule and parasite testing is important. Your pet's individual lifestyle will be evaluated and vaccine needs tailored to fit the lifestyle.  The most important part of preventive visits is the comprehensive annual physical examination (for pets 7 years and older every 6 months).  With pets aging approximately 7 years to our 1 year, our professional staff will pay close attention to changes and certain conditions and address them before they become problems.

  • RADIOLOGY
    • Radiology or X-rays help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular (cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.
  • SURGERY
    • Whether a planned procedure or an emergency, our state-of-the-art monitoring equipment, including EKG and blood pressure monitors, will give you peace of mind during your pet's procedure.  In addition, we use special fluid pumps and warming blankets to keep your pet comfortable during any emergency treatment or surgical procedure.  There will be a specially trained surgical nurse assigned to your pet throughout surgery and recovery.  Specially chosen pain medications will be given before and after the surgical procedure to make sure your pet is pain free and as comfortable as possible.
